The Rumble In The Jungle – BYOT No-Sting League – Summer 2023

About this League:

Welcome to the jungle! This summer we are holding a BYOT No-Sting League at Cal Anderson Park. This league is built for and encourages forming new teams to compete for glory. You can expect competition from all levels. Games will be played with no-sting rubber balls.

Details:

Day of the Week: Tuesdays
Times: 7-9pm most nights, 7-10pm on 9/12
Location: Cal Anderson Park Dodgeball Courts
Start and End Dates: July 25th – September 12th (playoffs on the final night)
Playoffs: September 12th, 7-10pm
Format: 8 week season. 12min Matches in Regular Season.
Registration Cost: $200 per team
Registration Deadline: July 22nd
Team Cap: Only 8 teams will be accepted.

ABOUT THE GAME

7″ No-Sting Balls
8v8 games
Teams play 4-5 matches a night
Teams: Bring your own team! Teams can have up to 10 players with a minimum of three non-male players on the court.

BASIC RULES

Rules video
Headshots on standing players are illegal
Deflections off balls are live
Finger blocks are okay.
Balls can get multiple players out.
