SQUID – 2022- Seattle Queer International Dodgeball Open

Event Description

Seattle’s Inaugural Queer 7″ Foam Dodgeball Tournament! Come to play dodgeball, meet new folks, check out the Seattle dodgeball scene, and have fun! This is a two day tournament with planned events and meetups throughout the weekend.

Venue has sound system, locker rooms with showers, and set on the beautiful landscape of Bellevue college.

Times: Round Robin – Saturday 8-4pm, Knockout Bracket – Sunday 9-3pm

Early Bird Registration: $50 (deadline June 30)
Regular Registration: $60
Five players needed to hold your team’s spot.
Player scholarships available for hardship.

Tournament Format:

Rules: Rainbow League Rules (with a modified 50ft court, 25ft throw, and no neutral zone)
Ball Type: 7″ Foam
Open Divsion: Teams have no roster restrictions.
Coed Division: At least two women identifying players on the court for each game.
(Teams can only register for one division)
Roster: Max size 9 players with 7 on the court.
Free Agents: Don’t have a team? Sign up as a free agent and we will find you one.
Queer Women Showcase: In support of our queer women, a queer woman only exhibition game will take place prior to elimination rounds for our women-identifying players to participate in.
Knockout: Single Elimination Bracket
Reffereeing: Teams will be given reffing assignments. Teams are required to provide four referees for each of their reffing assignments.
